if everything is working fine on your Android device, it's a good sign of user experience. When you encounter an error: "Unfortunately, the application has stopped", the user gets frustrated! The user was probably doing something important and now that the app has crashed, literally everything is gone! The user must restart the application and start over! So, in this article, we have compiled a list of ways you can try to fix the Unfortunately application has stopped error.
1 - Clear the cache and try again
Step #1 – Open the Settings app on your Android device.
Step #2: Scroll down and find “Applications” as shown in the image above.
Step #3: Scroll down to find the desired app and tap on it.
Step #4: Click on the Storage option.
Step #5: Now, you will find two options – “CLEAR DATA” and “CLEAR CACHE”. Simply, click on Clear Cache. The first option (clear data) serves a different purpose that we will cover in the next method.
2 - Reset the app
If clearing the cache does not work, this time you need to reset the app to fix the error.
Note: Clearing data will delete all your app data and information and reset app settings. So, if you do not have a backup of the application data or if it is not in the cloud, then perform a backup of the required data.
Step #1: Open the Settings app on your Android device.
Simply, click on Clear data.
Finally, restart the application. If the app requires user authentication, it will ask you to re-enter your credentials to log in again.
3 - Reinstall or update the app
If none of the above methods worked for you, you can try to uninstall the app and install it again to see if the error has stopped, but it still appears. Reinstalling might not be much different than clearing the app data, but it mostly seems to work.
If there is an update available for the app in the Google Play Store, consider updating it.
4 - Perform a factory reset
If You all methods did't work for you It's time to drop the bomb to get rid of the annoying error message. The only option you have in the end is to perform a factory reset. However, we do not recommend doing this unless you are experiencing this issue in multiple apps or if you are sure that you can easily get your data back after doing a factory reset. Warning, this will delete all data on the phone.
5- Rewriting firmware
if all the above option don t work for you then the only way to get your phone back to working state you will have to rewrite/flash new firmware check out our firmware page by clicking here make sure you select the right file march to your phone.
